Junior Team (6th-8th Grade) Season Information

The Waukesha South Youth Cheerleading program is a no experience necessary cheerleading team open to male and female athletes going into grades 6-8 for the UPCOMING (26-27) school year! We are excited to offer both a sideline and competitive cheerleading experience to our youth athletes! Youth Cheerleaders grades 6-8 will be given a t-shirt, a uniform rental, a bow, and will perform at Waukesha South High School’s Youth Night in September and at 4 local cheerleading competitions and WACPC JEM State! Our 6-8 grade cheerleaders will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading, sideline cheers for games, a halftime routine, and a competition routine throughout the course of this season.

Sideline Team Season Length: July, 2026 - October, 2026

Competition Team Season Length: July, 2026 - January, 2027

Competition Team Tryout Date: Sat. September 26th

First Practice: Tuesday, July 6th

Practice Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays 5:30-7:30pm (Tuesday practices to be added in October)

Practice Location: Waukesha South High School or local school nearby (TBD)

Competition Dates (subject to change): Sat. Nov 21st Sat. Dec 5th, Sat. Dec 12th, and Sat. Jan 2nd & Sat. Jan 9th​

Parent Meeting: Wednesday, May 27th, 5-7pm @ Waukesha South High School (Library)

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, May 20th (or until team capacity is met)
